The CSD series U 36901-902 were two narrow gauge - steam locomotives of the forest railway Tereswatal that after 1918 the CSD had been taken.
history
The machines of the series ČSD series U 36.901–902 were three-axle uniform narrow-gauge tender locomotives , built in 1922 by the Wroclaw company Smoschewer . They were created under the serial numbers 739 and 740. Several machines of this type must have been built, because in the literature under the serial number 700 or 701 a locomotive of the same type can be seen in operation in the Eastern Carpathians .
The locomotives were initially used on a private forest railway near Medzilaborce . After they were shut down, the State Forest Railway (SLD) bought two little-used locomotives of this type. Because the technical-police check was missing, they were initially suspended for three years, but initially took over a scheduled inventory number from the SLD.
They were then used by the Tereswatal Forest Railway from 1939 to the mid-1950s . In 1939, when the Tereswatal forest railway was continued to be operated by the private company Taracsvölgyi erdei vasút (TEV, German "Forest Railway Theresiental"), the locomotives were given the designation K 36.902-903.
