İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu

İbrahim Ethem Hacıosmanoğlu (born February 21, 1966 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish businessman.

Life

Hacıosmanoğlu was born in the Hayrat Merkez district of Trabzon as the eleventh of twelve children. He attended elementary school before leaving home at the age of twelve and moving to Istanbul. Between 2005 and 2007 he was the deputy chairman of Trabzonspor . After the resignation of the then chairman Nuri Albayrak in 2008, he ran for the board elections, but lost to Sadri Sener . In the elections for chairman of the board of Türkiye Futbol Federasyonu on February 27, 2012, he ran, but could not win the election either. He took part again in the elections for CEO of Trabzonspor on May 26, 2013 and won the election with 1,571 votes from 4,500 voters. He became the 15th President of Trabzonspor and remained in office until December 6, 2015. On June 19, 2016, he took over a position on the board of Erzurumspor .
