history

Foundation of an association

The association was founded in 1968 . A year later, the club took part in the newly introduced third-highest division in Turkish professional football, the Türkiye 3. Futbol Ligi .

Promotion to the highest Turkish league

After the club was alternately active in the second highest and third highest Turkish league, TFF 1st Lig and TFF 2nd Lig , since its foundation , the club succeeded in the second division season 1997/98 the first second division championship in the club's history. Through this championship, the club rose for the first time in its club history in the highest Turkish league, the Süper Lig . Here they played for three seasons, with the club always fighting against relegation. After relegation was achieved in the first two first division seasons, the club finished first division season 2000/01 as penultimate and rose again in the TFF 1. Lig.

Free fall and club closure

From the mid-2000s, the club had to struggle with significant financial problems. In the third division season 2008/09 the club started with the club president Cevdet Tamgaç . He resigned from his position during the winter break because he assessed the club's situation as hopeless. Coşkun Aslan was elected as Tamgaç's successor . Under this president, the club had to move most of the players to other clubs due to liquidity problems. So the second half of the season was contested with only 18 players, most of these players were brought from the reserve and junior team. With this squad, the team achieved relegation through a 1-1 draw away against 1461 Trabzon on the last day of the match.

After this small interim success, the situation deteriorated further in the next season. The team was unable to travel to the away game against Kırşehirspor on matchday 4 . The referee of these encounters decided according to the rules and canceled the game. Kırşehirspor was automatically noted 3-0 as the winner. The remaining part of the first half of the season, the club took part in the league, despite major financial problems, and finished last in the table with two points. Of the five points gained from five draws, three points were deducted by the national football association. For the first encounter of the second half of the season, this time at home against Kızılcahamamspor , the club was also unable to field a team and again lost 3-0 by the rules. On March 31, 2010, the away game against Karsspor was also not started. A little later, the disciplinary committee (PFDK) of the national football association decided to relegate the club to the TFF 3rd Lig with immediate effect . All remaining matches of the club were canceled and a 3-0 defeat was decided beforehand.

For the fourth division season 2010/11 the club received no license from the national football association due to financial problems. As a result, a general meeting decided to dissolve some industries. After the team had not started in the first two game days of the season, the disciplinary committee (PFDK) of the national football association decided a little later to let the club be relegated to Bölgesel Amatoer Ligi with immediate effect . In the same year the association was finally dissolved.
