Muzaffer Bilazer (born June 20, 1977 in Akçaabat ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.
Player career
society
Bilazer started club football in the 1990s in the youth department of Trabzon Yalıspor . Here he received a professional contract in the summer of 1995 and made his debut on September 3, 1995 against Bulancakspor . In this team he quickly rose to become a regular player, so he moved to Akçaabat Sebatspor after one season . For this club he only played half a season and was then given to the first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara . In the capital city, Bilazer failed to fight his way into the team squad.
Without having played a game for Gençlerbirliği, he moved to the second division Erzurumspor in the summer of 1997 . The decisive factor for this change was the fact that the assistant coach Sadi Tekelioğlu was introduced as head coach at Erzurumspor. As one of the first official acts, Tekelioğlu had Bilazer brought to his new employer. At this club, Bilazer established himself straight away as a regular player and top performer and rose with his team as the second division champion for the first time in the club's history in the first league . In this league, too, Bilazer kept his position within the team and played here until the summer of 2000.
For the new season he moved to Denizlispor within the league . Bilazer immediately enjoyed the support of the coach at his new club and fought for a regular place. In its second season, Denizlispor finished the 2001/02 season in 5th place in the table and thus qualified for the UEFA Cup of the 2002/03 season . Bilazer was one of the most conspicuous players on his team and made it onto the transfer list of several larger clubs. He decided on Trabzonspor , the most successful club in his home province of Trabzon . Here he was rarely preferred by head coach Samet Aybaba and completed 18 league games by the end of the season. He was the only bright spot to win the Turkish Football Cup with his club .
After one season, Bilazer was advised to change the club's management. In the summer of 2004, he switched to his old club Akçaabat Sebatspor, which at the time of the change was also taking part in the competition in the Süper Lig . For Sebatspor he played the next year and a half and then moved to the 2nd division to Elazığspor . At this club, he did not succeed in a year to assert himself as a regular player. He then played for a number of second and third division clubs without being able to establish himself anywhere. As a last stop he signed a one-year contract with the Istanbul Sarıyer SK in the summer of 2011 . Without having played a competitive game for this club, he fulfilled his contract and then ended his playing career.
National team
Bilazer played twice for the Turkish U-21 national team in 1998 .
Coaching career
After the end of his playing career, Bilazer switched to coaching and his first activity was the Akçaabat Sebatspor youth team . He resigned from this position in January 2013 and worked at Trabzonspor as a junior coach and assistant to head coach Tolunay Kafkas . After Kafkas was dismissed from his position in the summer and then taken over as head coach at league rivals Kardemir Karabükspor , Bilazer Kafkas followed to Karabük.
He then worked at the clubs Kayserispor , Akhisarspor and Fatih Karagümrük SK as an assistant coach. For the 2019/20 season, he started working for Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor for the first time in his career as head coach.
