Cenk Ahmet Alkılıç (born December 9, 1987 in Izmir ) is a Turkish football player. He is the son of Bülent Alkılıç , a former soccer player who worked for Galatasaray Istanbul for several years .

Career

Club career

Alkılıç began club football in the youth of Galatasaray Istanbul and then played for the youth teams of Beykozspor and Beylerbeyi SK . In the spring of 2006 he received a professional contract here and was integrated into the team squad. By the end of the season, he completed two league games for the professional team. In his third season he won a regular place and played here for two more seasons.

In the summer of 2009 he moved to the second division Altay Izmir . Here he made the leap into the regular formation straight away. In his second season for Altay, he increased his performance again, so that he also began to play regularly for the second selection of the Turkish national team.

After the relegation of his club to the TFF 2nd Lig , he separated from this and moved to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor for the upcoming season . Here he immediately won a regular place. In spring 2014 he left Rizespor and moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor within the Süper Lig . At this club he established himself under the direction of Hikmet Karaman immediately as a regular player and began to play in the position of right-back. Due to his consistently good performance, he was highlighted by some specialist critics as one of the more noticeable players of the 2014/15 season.

After Erciyesspor missed relegation in the summer of 2015, Alkılıç moved to the first division side Istanbul Başakşehir . For the second half of the 2016/17 season he was loaned to league competitor Aytemiz Alanyaspor and committed in the summer of 2017, including a transfer fee.

National team career

Alkılıç was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team in February 2011 and made his debut during this game period.
