Alfredas Lankauskas

Alfredas Lankauskas (born January 17, 1950 in Yakutia , Soviet Union ) is a Lithuanian politician and university professor.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1958 to 1968 at the 7th Vilnius Middle School (in Žirmūnai ), he studied radio physics from 1968 to 1973 at the Vilniaus universitetas and in 1983 received his doctorate at the Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI). In 1990 he completed IT courses in Leningrad .

From 1978 to 1981 he was a research associate and taught at the KPI from 1981 to 1991. From 1991 to 1995 he was chairman of the city council (mayor) of Šiauliai , from 1995 to 2000 mayor , from 2000 dean of the faculty at Šiaulių universitetas .
