At the beginning of the 2011/12 season he signed a three-year contract with the German second division promoted Dynamo Dresden , where he made his debut under Ralf Loose on August 26, 2011 (6th matchday) in the 3-0 away defeat against MSV Duisburg as he was substituted on in the 71st minute for Pavel Fořt . At the beginning of the 2012/13 season there was a request from Bundesliga promoter SpVgg Greuther Fürth , which was rejected by the Dresden club management. From 2013 Poté wore the captain's armband at times. He finally decided to prematurely extend his contract, which expired in 2014, for another year. With a total of 21 goals, he was the Dynamo player with the most second division goals in history. In July 2014, the German Football Association announced that Poté had tested positive for doping agents after the second division game on April 17, 2014 against Erzgebirge Aue . This was due to an overdose of an asthma spray with after WADA - list to the group of beta-2 agonists counting salbutamol . The proceedings were concluded shortly afterwards with a warning.
Since the extended contract was only valid for the 2nd Bundesliga, Poté moved to the Cypriot first division club Omonia Nicosia in the summer of 2014 . In his first year in Cyprus he was top scorer and fourth top scorer of the regular season.
In the summer of 2015 he moved to the Turkish second division club Adana Demirspor . At this club he established himself as a top performer right away and ended the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons as the top scorer of the TFF 1st Lig .
The 2017/18 season Poté played at APOEL Nicosia , after which he returned to Turkey to Adana Demirspor. In the summer of 2019 he moved to Büyükşehir Belediye Erzurumspor within the league .
