The Türkiye 2. Futbol Ligi 1975/76 was the 13th season of the second highest Turkish league in professional men's football. It was started on September 7, 1975 with the 1st game day and ended on May 23, 1976 with the 30th and final game day.

In the 1975/76 season, the TFF 1st Lig was divided into two groups, each with 16 teams, as in the previous season. A total of 32 teams played in two groups for promotion to the Süper Lig and against relegation to the then third-class TFF 3rd Lig . The top of the table in both groups rose directly to the higher Süper Lig and the teams in the last place in the table in the subordinate third-class 3rd Lig.

At the beginning of the season, the two relegated teams from the Süper Lig Samsunspor , Kayserispor and the two newly promoted teams from the then third-rate TFF 3rd Lig Bandırmaspor , Elazığspor were added to the 28 teams remaining from the previous season . Elazığspor took part in the competition of the 2nd Lig for the first time and Bandırmaspor returned to the 2nd Lig after a year of abstinence.

Mersin İdman Yurdu reached the championship of the group red and thus, after two years of abstinence, again participation in the Süper Lig . In the group white , Samsunspor secured the championship and thus the direct promotion back to the Süper Lig. The Turkish Football Association had the champions of the league determined by a playoff between the two first-placed winners. In this encounter, Samsunspor met against Mersin İdman Yurdu and won the championship with a 3-1 win. However, the Turkish Football Association later declared both clubs to be champions of the TFF 1st Lig.

At the end of the season, Hatayspor from the red group and Kütahyaspor from the white group were relegated to the 3rd Lig.
