The Türkiye 3. Futbol Ligi 1974/75 was the eighth season of the third highest Turkish division in professional men's football. It was started on August 24, 1974 with the 1st game day and ended on June 22, 1975 with the 34th game day.

As in the previous season, the league was designed as a two-tier league. In contrast to the preseason, one group consisted of 18 teams instead of 22 as in the preseason and the other of 17 teams instead of 21 as in the preseason. The reason for the reduction in the number of teams was that at the end of the preseason four teams per group were relegated, but for the new season no teams from the lower league were added. The two groups were again referred to as group red and group white . The former was played with 18 teams and the latter with 17 teams. The number of relegations per group was also increased. Instead of the two last-placed teams, the four last-placed teams were relegated to the regional amateur league. By reducing the number of groups from four to two and the number of relegated groups per group at the same time, the total number of relegated teams in the league remained at eight.

At the beginning of the season the four relegated teams from the 2nd Lig Bandırmaspor , PTT SK , Erzurumspor and Lüleburgazspor were added to the 31 teams remaining from the previous season . There were no newcomers who were either accepted as champions from the then fourth-class regional amateur leagues or who met the requirements of the Turkish Football Association and were thus allowed to participate in the third-highest division.

After the Ödemişspor - Feriköy SK encounter on June 1, 1975, the Turkish Football Association initiated an investigation to find out whether a match had been agreed upon at this encounter. The strongly relegation-threatened club Feriköy had decided the game 1: 3 for themselves. The investigation found a match agreement and consequently match manipulation. Ödemişspor was then deducted four points. Since Feriköy failed to stay in the league anyway, no point deduction was made.

As champions group red Elazığspor and the group white Bandırmaspor reached the championship of the 3rd Lig and thus direct promotion to the 2nd Lig . While Bandırmaspor reached the direct return to the 2nd Lig, the promotion meant the first participation in his club history in the 2nd Lig for Elazığspor. At the end of the season stood from the group Red Kırşehirspor and PTT SK and from the group White Feriköy SK as relegated to the regional amateur league.
