Düzcespor is a Turkish football club from Düzce , which plays in the TFF 3rd Lig .

history

Düzcespor was founded in 1967 with the union of the then amateur clubs Düzcespor and Düzce Gençlikspor. From 1978 to 1989 the club played continuously in the TFF 1st Lig . After the 1988/1989 season, the club rose to the TFF 2nd Lig and could not rise until the 1993/1994 season. After the team played three seasons in the third highest Turkish league, they were relegated to the TFF 3rd Lig and after four seasons they were relegated to the amateur league, which was partly due to the massive 1999 earthquake in Düzce . Since then, the club has not made it into the second highest division and currently plays in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig .
