Yomraspor is a Turkish football club from the city of Yomra in the northern Turkish province of Trabzon . The club was founded in 1968 and has the club colors purple and white. In the summer of 2015, the club achieved promotion to the TFF 3rd Lig , the fourth-highest division, and thus the first participation in Turkish professional football.
history
Foundation and the first years
The association was founded in 1968 under the name of Yomra Spor Kulübü , or Yomraspor for short, after the efforts of some city notables and young people . After the club was founded, the club played in the regional amateur leagues.
Entry into professional football
In the 2014/15 season, the club finished the season of the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig , the fifth highest Turkish league in general and the highest Turkish amateur league in particular, as champions and rose for the first time in the club's history in the TFF 3rd Lig , the lowest Turkish professional league.
