Tire 1922 Spor is a Turkish football club from the district of Tire , which belongs to the province of Izmir .

history

Tire 1922 Spor spent most of its club history in Turkey's regional amateur leagues. The association used to be called Izmir Il Özel Idaresi . In the 2012/13 season you could reach the second place in the table of the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig with 55 points . For the 2013/14 season, the club changed the name to Tire 1922 Spor , after the end of the season the first place in the table could be achieved with 60 points, thus qualifying for the decision-making round for the 4th league . There the team met Izmirspor on May 4, 2014who were defeated 6-5 on penalties after the game ended 0-0 after 120 minutes. This made the climb perfect.

In the 4th division Tire got off to a furious start: On the first matchday they defeated Bozüyükspor 3-0 at home, on the second matchday Tire won 6-2 in an away game against Batman Petrolspor .
