history

The club was founded in 1967 under the name Nazillispor and took part in the newly introduced third-highest Turkish league, the TFF 3rd Lig (today TFF 2nd Lig ). The 1968/69 season was completed as a champion and rose to the second highest Turkish league, today's TFF 1st Lig , on. After taking part in the game for two seasons in this league, you missed relegation at the end of the 1970/71 season and was back in third class. In the summer of 1975 you could not hold the class in the TFF 3rd Lig and rose to the amateur league. Because the club was in major financial bottlenecks at that time, the club's management decided to dissolve the club.

In the summer, the third-highest Turkish league in professional football, which had been abolished for four years, was reintroduced. On this occasion, the notables of the city of Nazilli founded the association for the second time. This time it was decided to use the club name Yeni Nazillispor (German: New Nazillispor) . During the founding ceremony, the club's colors were set as blue-yellow. A short time later, however, the club colors were changed to black and white, as the previous club used these colors. The new team played third class until the summer of 1992 and then rose as champions for the second time in the club's history in the second highest Turkish league. In 2001 the association ran into financial difficulties again due to the withdrawal of sponsors. Thereupon the city administration of Nazillis took over the association and in return changed the name to the current form. The 2011/12 season closed the club as a master of the four-class TFF 3rd Lig and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig .
