Fatsa Belediyespor is a Turkish football club from the district town of Fatsa , Ordu Province, with around 108,000 inhabitants .
history
From the founding of the club until 1984, the club played in the regional leagues of amateur football. In the 1984/85 season, the club , which was registered under the name Fatsaspor, was promoted to the 3rd league for the first time (categorically the fourth-highest league in Turkey), making it the first in the club's history to take part in a professional league. They played there up to and including 1985, then they had to relegate in 14th place. In 1998/99 they rose again, this time with the current club name, in the 4th league, but had to be relegated again as 16th place.
The 2017/18 season of the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig ended the club on the Black Sea in first place and was thus eligible to participate in the play-offs, in which the promotion to the 3rd Lig is played. The decisive game against Artvin Hopaspor was won by Fatsa Belediyespor 2-1, so the club returned to professional football after 18 years.
