history

The club was founded in 1977 as Tarım Doğanspor , and in 1986 the name was changed to Beşyüzevlerspor . For several years the club played in the Diyarbakır Amatoer Lig, in 2010 the name was again changed to Yeni Diyarbakırspor , this time the club colors were also changed to green and black. The 2010/11 season they became champions in the 1st Amatoer Küme and thus took part in the play-offs for the fifth-class Boelgesel Amatoer Lig and rose to the same league after a win.

The first season in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig was successful, as first place in the 2nd group qualified the club for the play-offs to the 3rd Lig , where they had to admit defeat against Kahramanmaraş Belediyespor 4-0. The promotion finally succeeded after the next season, since then the club known today as Diyarbekirspor has played fourth class.
