Artvin Hopa Spor Kulübü is a Turkish football club from Hopa , a town in the Artvin province in northeastern Turkey .

history

Artvin Hopaspor was founded in 1961.

After years in the amateur leagues, the club was promoted to the second division of the 1985/86 season from the 1983/84 season . After the direct relegation, it took until the 1996/97 season , in which Hopaspor could compete again in the second division. Until the 2000/01 season Hopaspor could still hold in the second division. Following this season, the club was no longer promoted to the second division.

Currently (season 2017/18) Hopaspor is playing in the fifth class Bölgesel Amatoer Lig - 3rd group .
