Adem Büyük (born August 30, 1987 in Hopa ) is a Turkish football player who has been with Galatasaray Istanbul since June 2019 .
Career
society
After Büyük first worked for local clubs, he moved in 2003 to the youth department of the then reigning master Beşiktaş Istanbul . In 2005 he made the leap into the professional team, but did not appear there in three years. Therefore, he was awarded to various lower-class clubs. In 2005 he played for Zeytinburnuspor and scored his first professional goal on October 2, 2005 against Alibeyköyspor . Just a week later, he scored his second goal against Beylerbeyi SK . During the 2006/07 season he played for Akçaabat Sebatspor . There, too, things went well for Büyük, scoring eight goals in 34 games. Between 2007 and 2008 he played for Altay Izmir and scored 16 goals in 27 games during that time. In 2008 he broke away from Beşiktaş Istanbul and moved to league rivals Manisaspor . But despite fifteen league games, a few cup games and a total of two league goals, Büyük was loaned to Boluspor for the 2009/10 season. After 27 games and eleven goals, he returned to Manisaspor. However, he completed only four games for the amateur team in the 2010/11 season and was therefore awarded to Mersin İdman Yurdu for six months during the winter break . Here he immediately established himself as a top performer and with his ten goals in 14 games played a key role in the fact that his club rose again to the Süper Lig after 28 years of abstinence as champions of the TFF 1st Lig .
For the winter break of the 2011/12 season he moved to the Turkish second division side Kasımpaşa Istanbul . With this club, too, he immediately established himself as a sure goal scorer. With his six goals in regular time and five goals in the relegation phase, he played a major role in the rule victory of his team and thus in the immediate return to the Süper Lig.
In the first division game against Beşiktaş on April 18, 2015, Büyük saw the red card in the 77th minute and then got into a discussion with his own fans. After these developments, the new head coach Önder Özen and the club management Büyük suspended from the team. After a period of reflection, he was reinstated in the squad. At Kasımpaşa he developed into one of the most successful players in the club's history before he left the club in September 2017 and switched to league rivals Yeni Malatyaspor . At that time he was with 140 first division games the player with the second most first division games for Kasımpaşa and with 29 first division goals the second most successful shooter in the club's history.
On June 28, 2019, Galatasaray Istanbul announced the signing of Büyük. He signed a two-year contract with the yellow-reds .
National team
Büyük played eight times for the Turkish U-18 national team between 2004 and 2005 . On November 23, 2004, he scored the first goal against Germany in his first game. He also met once on January 11, 2005 in a 7-0 win over Belgium. In 2007 and 2008 he completed five international matches for the Turkish U-21s , but remained without a goal.
In June 2011 he was nominated for the second selection of the Turkish national team and came to two missions.
After being able to convince his club for several weeks, he was nominated for the first time in his career in the squad for the Turkish national team in November 2013 in two test matches by national coach Fatih Terim . He made his international debut in the November 15, 2013 friendly against the Northern Irish national team .
