Oğulcan Çağlayan (born March 22, 1996 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .
Career
society
Çağlayan was born in Altındağ , a district of the Turkish capital Ankara. Here he began in 2006 in the youth of Bahçelerüstü Spor with club football. Just a year later, Ankaraspor brought Çağlayan into his youth department. From 2010, Çağlayan and his teammate Furkan Soyalp went through the junior departments of Bursa Merinosspor and Bursaspor .
In 2012 Galatasaray Istanbul tried to sign Çağlayan, but could not find an agreement with his club. Finally, Çağlayan moved to Gaziantepspor in spring 2014 and signed a two-year contract here. He made his professional debut on February 14, 2014 in the league game against Çaykur Rizespor .
In the winter break of 2014/15 he moved to league rivals Kayseri Erciyesspor . Here he became one of the shooting stars of the second half of the season. After his club had missed relegation, he was loaned to city partner and first division club Kayserispor for the season.
For the 2016/17 season he moved to the first division club Çaykur Rizespor . In his first season he was relegated with this club, and at the end of the 2017/18 season he reached the championship of the TFF 1st Lig with him and thus a direct return to the Süper Lig . For the 2018/19 season he was loaned to the second division Gazişehir Gaziantep FK . For the 2019/20 season, Çağlayan returned to Çaykur Rizespor and made 22 league games and scored three goals. On August 11, 2020, the striker moved to Galatasaray Istanbul on a free transfer .
