Christian Luyindama Nekadio (born January 8, 1994 in Kinshasa ) is a Congolese football player . He is under contract with Galatasaray Istanbul .

Career

In the club

Luyindama began his professional career in 2014. He initially played for three teams in the Congo. From the last one, TP Mazemba , it was awarded to Standard Liège in January 2017. At the beginning of the following season 2017/18, he finally moved there. On August 6, 2018, the association announced a contract extension. For the second half of the 2018/19 season, Turkish first division club Galatasaray Istanbul has loaned Luyindama. Galatasaray paid a sum of 3 million euros for the loan deal.

In summer 2019, Galatasaray made use of the agreed purchase option for a further payment of 5 million euros. Luyindama finally moved to Istanbul on a four-year contract.

With Galatasaray Istanbul, Luyindama won the Turkish Championship and the Turkish Cup at the end of the 2018/19 season.

In the national team

After playing three times in the U20 team of the Congo between 2013, he has played three times in the Congolese national soccer team since 2017 , including a World Cup qualifier.

Awards

With 69% of the votes cast, Luyindama was voted the best player from the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 2018.
