Martin Linnes (born September 20, 1991 in Kongsvinger ) is a Norwegian football player . Linnes has been under contract with the Turkish first division club Galatasaray Istanbul since January 2016 .

Club career

Linnes started his youth career at Sander IL and then moved to Kongsvinger IL . On May 5, 2010 he made his debut for Kongsvinger IL. He rose with the team in the 2nd division and became a regular player in the new season. In 2012 Linnes moved to Molde FK and was also a regular player there. At Molde FK, the full-back won the Norwegian Championship for the first time in the same year. He celebrated this success again in 2014.

On January 13, 2016, Galatasaray Istanbul announced the signing of Martin Linnes. His contract runs until summer 2019. The Turkish record champions transferred 2 million euros to Molde. He is used at "Gala" as both a right and a left back. At the end of the 2015/16 season, Linnes won the Turkish Cup. The Turkish championship followed a year later. On November 2, 2018, Linnes scored his first league goal for Galatasaray against Fenerbahçe Istanbul .
