Jesse Tamunobaraboye Sekidika (born July 14, 1996 in Port Harcourt ) is a Nigerian football player . Sekidika has been under contract with Galatasaray Istanbul since January 2020 .

youth

Sekidika spent his school days in a boarding school in Leicestershire . At a tournament at Keele University , those in charge of Manchester United and Stoke City were interested in signing. Sekidika was unable to sign for Stoke City or Manchester United because he did not have a European passport or work permit.

In August 2014 he went to AD Oeiras in Portugal . There he played half a season and was signed by Benfica Lisbon in January 2015 .

Club career

In the second half of the 2015/16 season, Sekidika moved to Serbia and became a player in the second division club FK Napredak Kruševac . At the end of the season, he was promoted to the first division. In the summer of 2018 it went on to Turkey to the second division side Eskişehirspor . During the 2018/19 season, Sekidika scored six goals in 13 league games.

On January 9, 2020, Galatasaray Istanbul announced the signing of Sekidika.
