Okan Kocuk (born July 27, 1995 in Mustafakemalpaşa ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper . Kocuk has been playing for Galatasaray Istanbul since the 2019/20 season .

Career

society

Kocuk started in 2006 in the youth department of Mustafakemalpaşaspor , the sports club in his hometown, with club football. Two years later he switched to the offspring from Bursaspor .

In the summer of 2011 he got a professional contract, but continued to play for the junior and reserve teams until the summer. For the 2015/16 season he was added to the professional squad as third goalkeeper by head coach Şenol Güneş . On December 10, 2014, he made his professional debut in the encounter of the Turkish Football Cup against Mersin İdman Yurdu . In the same season, Kocuk completed three more cup games and one league game.

Soyalp was loaned to Bandırmaspor for the 2016/17 season together with his teammates Furkan Soyalp and Emirhan Aydoğan and to the second division club İstanbulspor for the 2017/18 season. Kocuk made 22 league games for Bursaspor in the 2018/19 season. In the summer of 2019, the goalkeeper dissolved his contract with Bursaspor and moved to Galatasaray Istanbul on a free transfer . With the yellow-reds , Kocuk signed a four-year contract.

National team

Kocuk started his international career in 2011 with a commitment for the Turkish U-16 national team. He subsequently played for the Turkish U-17 , U-18 and U-19 national teams .

In 2015 he made his debut for the Turkish U-21 national team .
