Şile Yıldızspor is a Turkish football club from the small town of Şile , 65 kilometers east of Istanbul .

history

Şile Yıldızspor was founded in 1990 and played football in the regional amateur leagues for several years. In the 2016/17 season, the young club was promoted to the fifth-class Boelgesel Amatoer Lig after a play-off game against Zeytinburnu 1957 Spor, which they won 4-0. The first season in the 5th division was also very successful, because Şile Yıldızspor finished Group 9 with 49 points and thus in first place. The subsequent play-off encounter against Alibeyköy SK could be won 2-0, so the march into the 3rd Lig was made perfect, due to which the club plays for the first time in the club's history in a professional league.
