Participation in the Istanbul professional league

Until the summer of 1952, Adalet GK took part in the İstanbul İkinci Küme (German: Second Istanbul League ), which included clubs such as Eyüpspor , Beyoğluspor , İstanbulspor , Kasımpaşa Istanbul , Topkapı Istanbul , Rami SK and Taksim SK . It was not until the spring that football was reformed in Istanbul and the previous İstanbul Futbol Ligi (German: Istanbul Football League ) was transferred to the İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi (German: Istanbul Professional League ). In the first season of this season, which ended in the summer of 1952, the club Emniyet SK rose . Instead, the Turkish Football Association decided to include either Adalet SK or Beyoğluspor from the 2nd Istanbul league in the Istanbul professional league. Both teams should play off the promoted team in two relegation games, in which both teams should meet twice. Finally, the league was expanded from eight teams to ten for the new season. So Emniyet SK remained in the league and the two clubs Adalet SK and Beyoğluspor were also included in the league.

From 1952 the club took part in the then most prestigious league in Turkey, the regionally held İstanbul Profesyonel Ligi . Up until the introduction of the nationwide top division, today's Süper Lig , one of the permanent members of the league. The club played in the Süper Lig for two years and was a fixture in Turkish football at the time. With Necmi Onarıcı and Erol Keskin , the club provides two national players who were part of the Turkish national team during the 1954 World Cup . In the summer of 1960 one rose to the second highest division, today's TFF 1. Lig , from. Reinforced by the founding of numerous Anatolian teams, which increasingly strengthened regionally, the club lost its importance. After Adalet SK was relegated to the 3rd division in 1965, it was completely forgotten and closed in 1969.

In 1971 the club Alibeyköy SK bought the competition and naming rights from Adalet SK and played under the new name and the new club colors blue-orange until the summer of 1980. In 1980 the club rose to the second highest division, today's TFF 1. Lig . Those responsible took this ascent as an opportunity and changed the club name to Alibeyköy SK.
