Karaköprü Belediyespor is a Turkish football club from the city of Karaköprü in the province of Şanlıurfa, with a population of almost 115,000 .
history
The club was founded in 1992, until 2013 Karaköprü played in the regional amateur leagues, and in the 2013/14 season they took part in the fifth-highest league, Bölgesel Amatör Lig , for the first time in the club's young history . The 2016/17 season ended the club from the southeast in third place, which entitles them to participate in the play-offs for promotion to the 3rd league . On April 22, 2017 they won the decisive game against Mardin 47 Spor and were able to celebrate their first promotion to the fourth highest and professional third division.
