Annette Elisabeth Töller

Annette Elisabeth Töller (born December 10, 1968 in Korschenbroich ) is a German political scientist .

Life

After studying political science and public law at the University of Hamburg, Töller obtained his diploma in political science in 1995 and received his doctorate in 2000 from the TU Darmstadt . In the academic year 2005/2006 she did research as a JF Kennedy Fellow at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies. In 2008 she completed the habilitation procedure at the Helmut Schmidt University (topic of the habilitation thesis: "Why does the state cooperate? Cooperative environmental policy in the shadow of the hierarchy") and obtained the license to teach political science. Since April 2009 as Professor of Political Science, Department III Policy Field Analysis (since 2015 Policy Field Analysis & Environmental Policy) at the FernUniversität in Hagen . There she has been a member of the University Council since 2013 and its deputy chairwoman since 2018, as well as a member of the development team of the research focus energy, environment, sustainability since 2018. From 2015 to 2019 she was editor of the Politische Vierteljahresschrift (PVS), since 2016 editor of the Journal for Comparative Political Science (ZfVP).

Policy field analysis, environmental policy in Germany, country comparison and the European Union, institutions and environmental policy, representation of interests in environmental policy, right of environmental associations to sue; Environmental issues: u. a. Fracking, electromobility, air pollution control, waste policy, nature conservation, bioeconomy & bioplastics; Europeanization of national legislation; Questions of health and asylum policy; European administrative structures (especially comitology).
