Quantum is an electronic journal for quantum science and related fields founded in 2016 . It is not for profit and publishes all articles in Open Access after they have undergone a peer review process.

Quantum publishes scientific articles and opinion pieces on topics in quantum science and related fields, such as B. quantum information theory . All articles must be made available to the general public on the preprint server arXiv in the quant-ph section . Contributions are selected based on a high scientific quality without considering the possible impact.
Quantum is indexed in the Directory of Open Access Journals and the Emerging Sources Citation Index and has been recognized by the European Physical Society for the high standard of the peer review process.
