Halide Edip Adıvar SK is a Turkish football club from Istanbul , which is named after the Turkish writer Halide Edip Adıvar .

history

Halide Edip Adıvar SK took part in local tournaments in the 1990s, in 2004 the football club Kasımpaşa Harb-İş Dikimevi was bought, then the club was renamed to its current name, the club colors were changed to red and white and the year of foundation was given as 2004.

In its young history, the club played in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig , but this changed in the 2013/14 season. There the club finished second with 60 points after the end of the season and only narrowly missed first place, as front runner Edirne Spor Gençlik had one point more, so they qualified for the relegation to the TFF 3rd Lig . There they defeated Sorgun Belediyespor 4: 3 on penalties on April 27, 2014 , after the game had ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, so Halide Edip Adıvar rose to the TFF 3rd Lig.

In the fourth division season 2014/15 the team missed the relegation of the TFF 3rd Lig and was relegated to the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig. After just one season, the club returned to the TFF 3rd Lig in summer 2016.
