Türk Telekomspor is a Turkish sports club from Ankara . The club achieved sporting success in football , basketball and volleyball . The former department was dissolved in summer 2011 and the latter department in summer 2009.
history
The club was founded in 1954 under the name PTT Spor Kulübü (short PTT SK or just PTT ), the club colors at that time were black and yellow. In 1998 the club name was changed to Türk Telekomspor . The club colors have been blue-white-turquoise since then.
basketball
The men's basketball department has been represented in the Türkiye Basketbol Ligi since 1991 . In 1996/97 she took part in the Cup Winners Cup, in 2004 she was represented in the ULEB Cup for the first time . The club's greatest success in 2008 was winning the Turkish Basketball Cup.
Soccer
history
In the 1959/60 season, the soccer team took part in the Süper Lig for the first time in the club's history . The team stayed in the top division of Turkish football for eleven years. They played a season in the 2nd division in 1971/72 and returned to the Süper Lig. In the 1972/73 season it went back to the 2nd division. Then it went further down for PTT. In the 1974/75 season they played in the amateur league.
1983 PTT returned to the 2nd division. In the 2008/09 season the team played in the 3rd division.

In 2007/08 and 2008/09 , the women's volleyball division took part in the Champions League. However, in 2009 the department was closed.
