The Türkiye 3. Futbol Ligi 1976/77 was the tenth season of the third highest Turkish division in professional men's football. It was started on September 19, 1976 with the 1st game day and ended on June 3, 1977 with the 22nd game day.

The league was expanded from a two-pronged to a three-pronged league for the preseason with the same total number of teams. From the previous season, which was played without relegation, the two second division relegated teams were added to the two promoted teams, so that the total number of teams remained the same. The two groups were again designated as group red and group white and designed with eleven teams, while the new group was named group blue and was designed with 10 teams. All top of the table rose directly to the 2nd Lig , while the last three in the groups red and white and the last two in the blue group relegated to the regional amateur league.

At the beginning of the season, the two relegated teams from the 2nd Lig Hatayspor and Kütahyaspor were added to the 30 teams remaining from the previous season . There were no newcomers who were either accepted as champions from the then fourth-class regional amateur leagues or who had met the requirements of the Turkish Football Association and were thus allowed to participate in the third-highest division.

The two clubs Nevşehirspor and Çanakkalespor were each deducted two points from the Turkish Football Association due to different offenses at the end of the season.

Düzcespor (group red) , Ispartaspor (group white) and Urfaspor (group blue) achieved the championship of the 3rd league in their groups and thus direct promotion to the 2nd league. While Düzce returned to the 2nd league after seven years of abstinence Lig reached, the promotion meant Tekirdağspor and Urfaspor the first participation in their club history in the 2nd Lig.

End of the season rose from the Red Group Kastamonuspor , Çanakkalespor , Yeşilova SK , from the White Group Galata SK , Anadolu SK , Suleymaniye SK and from the Blue Group Amasyaspor and Nevşehirspor in the third Lig from.
