Yeşilovaspor is a Turkish football club from the Çamdibi district of the Bornova district , which in turn belongs to the İzmir province . The team currently plays in the 5th division, the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig .
history
Early years
The association was founded in 1954. The club experienced its peak in the 1980s. In the 1979/80 season they finished 8th at the end of the season. Since the Turkish Football Association transferred the third division to the second division for the following season, Yeşilova SK was allowed to participate in the second division. Overall, they played three years in the second division , from 1980 to 1983. Since then, the leap into the professional leagues has not succeeded.
Modern times
In the 2012/13 season, the club finished 12th in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig (7th group) and so rose to the İzmir Süper Amatoer Lig . A season later, the champions returned to the 5th division.
