1st Lig 1973/74

The 1st Lig 1974/75 was the 17th season of the highest Turkish league in men's football . It began on September 8, 1974 with the game Galatasaray Istanbul against Giresunspor , which went 2-0 and ended on June 1, 1975. From January 5, 1975 to February 2, 1975 the season was interrupted by the winter break.

As in the previous season, Fenerbahçe Istanbul became champions . The climbers of the season were Trabzonspor and Zonguldakspor . Trabzonspor finished ninth in his first year and reached the final of the Turkish Cup . The relegated were Samsunspor and Kayserispor . Kayserispor had to go back to the second division after two seasons.

In addition to the remaining 14 clubs from the previous season , the champions of the last second division season Trabzonspor and Zonguldakspor were promoted. For both clubs, the rise meant the first participation in the club's history in the 1st Lig.
