1st Lig 1993/94

The 1st Lig 1994/95 was the 37th season of the highest Turkish league in men's football . It started on August 13, 1994 with the game Zeytinburnuspor against Fenerbahçe Istanbul and ended on May 21, 1995 with the 34th and final matchday. From December 18, 1994 to January 22, 1995 the season was interrupted by the winter break.

Beşiktaş Istanbul with the German coach Christoph Daum was the first of the season and thus the Turkish men's championship . With this season the 1st Lig was again increased to a league with 18 teams. Therefore, five promoted teams were added to the remaining teams.

For the 1st Lig 1994/95, the six promoted teams from the last second division season have been added to the 13 clubs that remained from the previous season . The climbers were the first to third place in the 2nd League Petrol Ofisi SK , Denizlispor and Vanspor and the two play-off winners of the 2nd Lig Antalyaspor and Adana Demirspor . While Denizlispor returned after seven years, Antalyaspor after eight years and Adana Demirspor after two, Petrol Ofisi SK and Vanspor rose to the first league for the first time in their club history.
