For the five most important airports, the identification data IATA code, ICAO code, the year of opening, use, the number and type of runways and the city in which the airport is located are given.
Explanation
- Name of the airport: Provides the name of the airport and any additional names.
- IATA code: The code consists of a combination of three Latin letters and is used to clearly identify the individual commercial airports. The IATA code is issued by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
- ICAO code: The ICAO code is issued by the International Civil Aviation Organization and consists of a unique combination of four Latin letters. EE stands for Estonia.
- Opening: states the year in which the airport was opened.
- Usage: Indicates what the airport is used for, e.g. B. Civil, Military, or General Aviation.
- R: R stands for runway . Give the number of runways at the airport. These can consist of asphalt (marked with A ), concrete ( B ) or grass ( G ).
- City: The city in which the airport is located.
