Taner Gülleri (born April 29, 1976 in Adana ) is a former Turkish football player and coach. During his long career he played in various second and first division clubs in Turkey. He was mainly active in the second-rate TFF 1st Lig and was one of the most successful goal scorers during this time. In the 2007/08 season he was the top scorer in the TFF 1. Lig and in the 2008/09 season he was second in the Süper Lig's list of goalscorers behind Milan Baroš .

Player career

Gülleri began his professional career in 1995 with Adana Demirspor . After his first season there, the club loaned him to Tarsus İdman Yurdu . There was no return to Adana Demirspor because he signed for one season with Fethiyespor .

He played a good season for Fethiyespor. Gülleri scored 18 goals in 32 appearances. The first division side Bursaspor signed the striker. Taner could never prevail at Bursaspor and played 25 games. During the four years it was awarded to Beykozspor . At Beykozspor he made 30 goals in 41 games.

He left Bursaspor at the end of the 2001/02 season. This was followed by two stations with Sakaryaspor and Kayseri Erciyesspor , in which he again could not recommend himself for the first team.

In January 2004 he switched to Antalyaspor . With his transfer to Antalyaspor he made a direct hit, in three years he played 49 games and scored 37 goals. Kocaelispor signed Taner in January 2007. In the 2007/08 season he scored 21 goals and was the top scorer in the second division , in addition, Gülleri thereby had a large share in the rise of Kocaelispor to the Turkcell Süper Lig .

In the 2009/2010 season he moved after relegation Kocaelispors in the TFF 1st Lig free transfer to the first division Istanbul Büyüksehir Belediyespor . Here he stayed away from the team for a long time due to injury. Finally, he announced the end of his active career as a professional footballer for the 2011/12 season.

Coaching career

Gülleri started working as a trainer in summer 2012 and was the first to look after the Samsunspor U-15 youth team . In August 2013 he started working as an assistant coach for third division team Göztepe Izmir and assisted head coach Erhan Altın . After he had to leave the club a month later, Gülleri also left Göztepe.

For the 2014/15 season he was introduced as the new head coach at third division club Nazilli Belediyespor .
