Jeff Batchelor (born April 29, 1988 in Oakville , Ontario ) is a retired Canadian snowboarder . He starts in the halfpipe discipline .

In January 2004 Batchelor denied his first international race, an FIS race in Craigleith (Ontario) . In the same season he achieved podium placements in the Nor-Am Cup . At the Junior World Championships in April 2005 in Zermatt , Batchelor finished fourth when the Finn Janne Korpi won . At the beginning of the next season he made his debut in the World Cup in Whistler . At the end of the 2006/2007 season he succeeded in Sungwoo ( South Korea ) his first World Cup victory, he made two second places in the following season in February 2008, first in Gujō and a week later in Calgary . At the FIS Snowboard World Championship 2009 he was runner-up in the halfpipe . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he finished 32nd on the halfpipe.

Batchelor has been a member of Canada's national snowboarding team since 2006. He attended Appleby College in Oakville.
