Ekrem Ekşioğlu (born January 16, 1978 in Ankara ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Ekrem Ekşioğlu began his club career in the youth of Çankırıspor and became a professional footballer here in 1998. In 1999 he left Çankırıspor and played in the following years at Hatayspor , Erzurumspor , Akçaabat Sebatspor and Karşıyaka .

In the summer of 2006 he finally moved to the second division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . Here he reached in his first season with his new team the runner-up in the TFF 1st Lig and rose to the Süper Lig .

After seven years Ekşioğlu left Istanbul BB after missing relegation and moved to Kayseri Erciyesspor . In the summer of 2014 he left this club again.
