Ōhara Tomie

Ōhara Tomie ( Japanese 大 原 富 枝 ; born September 28, 1912 in Yochino-mura (today: Motoyama-chō ) Kōchi Prefecture ; † January 27, 2000 ) was a Japanese writer.

Ōhara has received several awards for her novels. She received u. a. 1956 the women's literature award for Sutomai tsumbo and in 1960 the Mainichi culture award for literature and art for Utsukushi to iu onna and the Noma literature award for En to iu onna .
