Ōtomo no Yakamochi
Ōtomo no Yakamochi ( Japanese 大 伴 家 持 ; * 718 ; † October 5, 785 ) was one of the most important poets in Japan during the Nara period . Among other things, he put together a large part of the Manyōshū .
