Şəmistan Əlizamanlı

Şəmistan Əlizamanlı (also Shamistan Alisamanli , born February 4, 1959 ) is the military spokesman for the Republic of Azerbaijan , author of many military and patriotic songs, lecturer and radio and TV presenter.

Life

Əlizamanlı studied at the Azerbaijani University of Culture and Art. He started working as a speaker on Azerbaijani television and radio. Then he was sent to Moscow to continue his studies. He graduated successfully and won first prize in the Soviet Union for his talent as a speaker.

He became famous for his accounts of the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan. These usually began with the words “Attention! Attention! ”(Azerbaijani: Diqqət, diqqət! ).

In 1993 he started his career as a singer. He sings military and patriotic songs such as “The Brave Soldier” ( İgid əsgər ), “Mr. Lieutenant” ( Cənab Leytenant ), “First Battalion” ( Birinci batalyon ), “Falcons” ( Şahinlər ), “Property of the homeland” ( Vətən əmanəti ) and others.

Concert tours

Şəmistan Əlizamanlı gave several concerts in 1998, 1999 and 2002 in different cities in Germany, Turkey as well as Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Turkmenistan. He took part in the "International Music Festival" in Switzerland. He also took part in the congresses of the Turkic peoples and the World Congress of Azerbaijanis in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk.
