Štrbački buk waterfall on the Una south of Bihać.

The Štrbački Buk is a 24.5 meter high waterfall of the Una river , which at this point forms the border between Bosnia and Herzegovina on the east and Croatia on the west side of the river. The waterfall is located near the villages of Kulen Vakuf and Orašac , which belong to the municipality of Bihać . It consists of several waterfalls located close together.

The Štrbački Buk is part of the Una National Park and is the largest of the local waterfalls. It is located 294 m above sea level and has been a popular tourist destination for years.

The easiest way to get to the waterfall is via the Bosnian side, either via Orašac or an unpaved path through the national park. However, it got its name from the nearby Croatian town of Donji Štrbci . On the Croatian side, there is the Štrbački buk stop on the Una Railway , but since the Bosnian War there has been no regular passenger traffic.
