The 1. FC Femina is a Hungarian woman football club from Budapest . With ten championship titles, it is the most successful club in the country. The time with the most titles so far was the 2000s under the aegis of coach László Kiss (2000 to 2011), who played 33 international matches for the Hungarian national football team . Between 2001 and 2008 the club was able to win six championships. Since then, the FC has not got beyond third position. In the 2011/12 season they finished far behind in fourth place (out of ten teams).

So far, the club has participated in the UEFA Women's Cup six times . The first three participations were eliminated in the group stage. They were most successful in the 2006/07 season . After victories over FC NSA Sofia , FC Narta Chișinău ( Moldova ) and Gömrükcü Baku ( Azerbaijan ) they became the first Hungarian team to reach the second group stage. There they failed, however, against Brøndby IF , Arsenal London and WFC Rossiyanka ( Russia ). The 2007/08 season ended again in the first group stage.

Alongside other important Hungarian players, Anita Pádár played for the club between 2001 and 2011 .
