FC NSA Sofia ( Bulgarian ФК "НСА" (София) ) is a Bulgarian football club from the capital Sofia .

history

It was formed by students from the National Sports Academy , which produced well-known footballers such as Georgi Asparuchow , Christo Stoitschkow , Christo Bonew , Plamen Markow and Krassimir Balakow . From 1942 to 1952 it was called by King Boris III. founded, "College of Physical Culture", then it was renamed "College of Physical Culture Georgi Dimitrov " and in 1990 the National Sports Academy (NSA) Wassil Levski .

The men finished last in League C in 1994/1995. Since the 2002/03 season, they have been playing in group "A" in Sofia.

The women's soccer team of FC NSA Sofia is a fifteen-time Bulgarian champion and a thirteen-time cup winner. In the Women's Champions League, the women were eliminated in the qualifying round, in the 2010/11 competition just as second in the group behind Brøndby IF .

The main colors of the club are light blue and white. The club plays its games in the 1,000-seat NSA stadium .
