The Crusaders Newtownabbey Strikers FC is a Northern Irish women's football club from Belfast (until 2009 Newtownabbey ).

history

The club was founded in 1992 and is one of the most successful women's football clubs in the country. They have won the championship six times and the Northern Irish Cup twice. The club was founded as Newtownabbey Strikers FC as a women's football club and later joined the club Crusaders FC . Nevertheless, it remained a pure women's football club, but took the addition of Crusaders in the club name.
