The 1. FC Kirchheim is a football club from the Lower Franconian town of Kirchheim .
history
The association was founded in early March 1919. In 1922 he joined the South German Football Association.
The most successful phase in sport were the 1970s, when the club competed in the Bavarian State League from 1974 to 1980 . In 1973 he became the Lower Franconian Cup winner for the first time. The club repeated this success in 1978 and qualified for the first main round of the DFB-Pokal 1978/79 , where it was defeated 1: 2 on August 6, 1978 on its own place by the league club SpVgg EGC Wirges .
In 2002, as champions of the Lower Franconian district league , the club managed to return to the sixth-class district league that was held until 2008.
