The 1st Squash Club Diepholz von 1987 eV is a squash club from Diepholz and currently plays in the 1st Squash Bundesliga .

history

The association was founded in 1987 by six people. In 1991 the first team was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord and in 1996 to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 1999 the first team took first place in the 2nd Bundesliga and was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga. Due to financial difficulties, the club withdrew from the Bundesliga and played in the Landesliga West from 2001.

In 2005 he was promoted again to the Regionalliga Nord and in 2007 again to the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2011 the club won the runner-up in the 2nd Bundesliga. In 2014 he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga again.

The professional players who competed for Diepholz include Iker Pajares , Declan James , Richie Fallows and Mahesh Mangaonkar .
