Declan James (born April 19, 1993 in Nottingham ) is an English squash player .

Career

Declan James began his career in 2011 and has so far won 13 tournaments on the PSA World Tour . He achieved his highest ranking in the world rankings with rank 15 in May 2019. In 2015 he qualified for the first time for the world championship , where he was eliminated in the first round. In 2017 he was in the squad of the English national team for the European championship for the first time and became vice European champion with this. In the following year he finished second with the team before winning the first title with her in 2019 . With the English national team, he took part in the 2019 World Cup and was runner-up with them. At the Commonwealth Games 2018 he won the bronze medal in doubles with James Willstrop .
