The 37th Squash Championship ( English PSA World Championship ) of the men was from 13 to 22 November 2015 in Bellevue , Washington in the United States instead. It was the highest-value tournament on the PSA World Tour 2015/16 and also the first professional squash championship to be held in the United States.

The defending champion was Ramy Ashour , who defeated Mohamed Elshorbagy in five sets last year . Ashour lost to Omar Mosaad in the semifinals , while the top-seeded world ranking leader Mohamed Elshorbagy failed in the second round to James Willstrop . Mosaad met Grégory Gaultier , who had already been in the final in 2006, 2007, 2011 and 2013 in what was his first World Championship final. Gaultier clearly won the game with 11: 6, 11: 7 and 12:10 and became the second title winner from France after Thierry Lincou , who became world champion in 2004.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 64 players, 16 of which were for qualifiers. Per Wildcard received Julian Illingworth a spot in the main draw.
