Shawn Adam Delierre (born May 25, 1982 in Montreal ) is a Canadian squash player .

Career

Shawn Delierre began his professional career in the 2000 season and has so far won 17 tournaments on the PSA World Tour , including the Bluenose Squash Classic 2006. He reached his highest place in the world rankings with rank 35 in March 2013. He won the Pan American Games in 2007 , 2011 and 2015 a total of six medals. With every participation he won the bronze medal in the individual and in 2007 and 2011 the silver medal with the Canadian team. In 2015 he won his first gold medal with the team. In 2019 he secured silver in double and bronze with the team in Lima .

With the Canadian national team he took part in world championships in 2007 , 2009 , 2011 , 2013 , 2017 and 2019 . In 2013 and 2015 he was the Canadian national champion . On January 24, 2015, he and Leo Au set a new record for the longest squash match in history in the semifinal game of the Holtrands Gas City Open 2015 with a playing time of 170 minutes.
