World Squash Championship 1992

The 16th World Squash Championship for Men ( English 1992 Men's World Open Squash Championship ) was held from 21 to 26 September 1992 in Johannesburg , South Africa instead. The total prize pool was $ 160,000.

Defending champion Rodney Martin met Chris Dittmar in the semi-finals , but this time he lost 3-1. Dittmar played his fifth World Cup final and for the fourth time, his opponent was Jansher Khan . Khan was victorious again, with 15:11, 15: 9, 10:15 and 15: 6 he defeated Dittmar. For Khan this was the fourth title, while Dittmar now had five final defeats at world championships.
